Return and Refund Policy

At EasyHangHook, we take immense pride in the craftsmanship of our Artisan Cast Iron & Heavy-Duty Decorative Hardware. We understand that choosing the right details for your home is important, and we are committed to providing a transparent and hassle-free return experience. Our policy is designed to ensure that you are entirely satisfied with your purchase while maintaining the integrity of our specialized inventory.


Return Window and Eligibility

We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order is delivered to your shipping address. To be eligible for a return, your items must meet the following criteria:

  • Condition: The product must be in new, unused, and uninstalled condition. Items showing signs of installation (such as scratches on mounting holes) cannot be accepted.
  • Completeness: All original parts, including matching mounting screws and hardware, must be included.
  • Packaging: Items must be returned in their original packaging. Because cast iron and brass are heavy, the packaging must be secured to ensure the product is not damaged during the return transit.

How to Initiate a Return (RMA Required)

To ensure your return is processed efficiently and safely, we utilize a Mandatory Authorization process. Please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email our support team at [email protected] within 30 days of delivery. Please include your Order Number and the reason for the return.
  2. Receive Authorization: Once approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) code and the specific return address and instructions for your return.
  3. Ship the Item: Securely pack the item and clearly mark the RMA code on the outside of the box.

CRITICAL WARNING: Please do not send items back to the sender’s address on the original shipping label without contacting us first. Our address on file is not a return processing location. Unauthorized returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted and may result in the forfeiture of your refund.


Return Shipping Costs

Responsibility for return shipping is determined by the nature of the return:

  • Merchant Responsibility (Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Item): If your hardware arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or if we sent the wrong item, EasyHangHook will cover 100% of the return shipping costs. Note: You must report any damage or defects within 48 hours of delivery by emailing [email protected] with clear photographs of the product and the external packaging.
  • Customer Responsibility (Customer Remorse/Change of Mind): If you decide you no longer want the item, or if you selected the wrong style or color, you are responsible for the actual return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

Zero Restocking Fees

At EasyHangHook, we believe in complete price transparency. We are proud to declare that we do not charge any restocking fees ($0.00 Restocking Fee) for returned items that meet our eligibility requirements. The amount you paid for the product will be the amount eligible for refund.


Refund Process and Timeline

Once your return package is received at our facility, our quality control team will inspect the items:

  1. Inspection: We will complete the inspection within 1 to 3 Business Days of receipt.
  2. Approval: We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund based on the item’s condition.
  3. Credit: Once approved, your refund will be processed immediately, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
  4. Bank Processing: Please note that most financial institutions require an additional 5 to 10 Business Days to reflect the transaction on your statement.

Order Cancellations and Fraud Prevention

  • Cancellation Window: You may request to cancel your order for a full refund within 12 hours of purchase.
  • Post-Window Cancellations: Once an order has entered the fulfillment or shipping process (usually after 12 hours), it cannot be canceled. In this case, you must receive the item and follow the standard return process.
  • Fraud Prevention: To protect our customers and our business, EasyHangHook reserves the right to refuse a refund if we suspect fraudulent activity, including but not limited to “wardrobing” (using an item and then returning it) or returning items that were not originally purchased from our store.
